When working with clients I will be more mindful of the language I use. It will also be useful to use The Silent Session for clients who are struggling with engaging/feel anxious about engaging. I found the training with Eileen really interesting – her experience and delivery is impressive and I felt like I ended the Course with new tools for better conversations with clients. Highly recommend.

I work with clients who have experienced trauma and often they find it difficult to speak about their experiences, so enabling them to focus on what is important to them without having to share any information {The Silent Session] but allowing for change to take place – I think will be revolutionary for some of them.

Also many of the clients have only received negativity from others so to be with someone who is focused on what is working for them will be a very different experience. I liked that it didn’t matter what profession you were – it can work for all who are supporting people no matter what their issue is.

This is one of the best training sessions I’ve been on – I found Eileen incredibly engaging. I feel that in this line of work it is quite easy to investigate people’s past experiences and try to help them to learn, accept and move on from that. With a Solution Focused Approach however, its put the emphasis on moving forward and making positive changes to improve now.
