Down with this sort of thing!

It is not because I am Irish……well maybe it is but politics aside, I was proud to see a middle aged man standing amongst the 50,000 odd crowd in Dublin this week protesting with a solitary banner “Down with this sort of thing!”.  I can’t think of a greater tribute to writers, Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews than to include a banner from one of their Father Ted episodes.
Sheesh – where else would you see such humour in the face of adversity.
