Feedback from the Personalised Education for adolescents with Aspergers Syndrome paper by Kevin Foley: Talking about everything falling into place!! All teachers should have a copy of your paper. Because of your paper, my son has now had the pressure taken off him regarding homework, exams etc – this has relieved him of considerable stress. Now there is more of a focus on providing an environment and a level of work he can cope with to help him develop his real potential not just focus on academic areas. Thank you for giving me a picture of where my son was at – you have clarified the picture.

SFBT working will change the way I approach work with young people and families. We often focus on the client’s “problems” and how to “solve” them but SFBT emphasises working in partnership with clients to identify what is working well for them. I particularly liked The Change Balloon, Monitoring Sheets and the “Notice Board”.
