I have blogged elsewhere about how really interesting it is that the actor, Leonard Nimoy, who played Spock in Star Trek said that after a while playing the role, he started becoming more logical and disciplined in his personal life and continued taking on elements of Spock’s positive behaviours.
How Erickson would have mused over that…. not so much “fake it till you make it” more “choose a life and go live it”. The latter, incidentially, being the title of a book that I am working on. However, I have five unfinished manuscripts on “books that I am working on” piled high around my desk. I wonder if I put the five manuscripts together, whether I would then get, finally, one book? Like everyone else, I guess, I want to have written a book – not actually write one.
