I do not think the application of this training should be limited to work – I think I need to apply it to all areas my life, to live and breathe it, to make it natural and instinctive. It just makes total sense – I can only hope I continue to improve in the delivery. I can’t believe this is the first time I have come across this reasoning and explanation. It should be mandatory in schools and definitely in all social care courses.

The training will help with everything! Working with parents to empower them to come up with solutions. It will also have a very positive impact on Supervision with staff. Eileen reminded me about some strategies I had forgotten about! The Silent Session was new to me as a tool and I will definitely be asking my staff to use. I will also encourage parents to focus their energy not on fighting the old but by building the new.
