It will help me to allow parents to come up with their own solutions and conclusions and help me to highlight the positive things that are happening in a family and to build on looking ahead from there. I felt this approach encourages people to take their power back with regards to what happens in their lives.

Solution Focused is an approach that I will be using within all areas of my family support work. From completing the course, I am now “armed” with tools to use and an understanding of theory and an introduction to skills. Can’t wait to “get out there” and start introducing it to families. A very enjoyable day – many thanks.
