Very well delivered training – a difficult subject but easily understood. Humourous, engaging and thought provoking.

A fantastic two days, theory translated into very practical applications. Good fun – if I’m laughing – I’m learning!
Head of Primary Behaviour Support in Reading
An amazing two days. Refreshing new ways to improve or work on situations constantly arising in my profession. Passionately and clearly delivered with full answers given to all of questions asked. I left with a feeling of confidence to handle situations with variable options. Both trainers exceptional, friendly and able to put even the most apprehensive at ease.

As a direct result of Eileens personal qualities as a trainer, the team remains as committed to Solution Focused Practice some 6 years on, and new team members are quickly impressed by the dedication and commitment to the practice.

We found Eileen’s invigorating practical training in the Solution Focused Approach, inspiring and we have put it to good use in our pastoral work ever since.
Pupil Support for Wellsway School in Bristol
I found the “Future Talk” most useful. Training reawakened my knowledge of the principles of the “Move On” approach.
Emergency Duty Team Officer in South Gloucester
I found I have lots more tools to use but most of all I found the approach almost opposite to what I had been doing. To look forward and motivate is great and the language tips were fantastic. I found it very inspiring – the most valuable training I have ever been on.
Team Member for Catch 22 in Southampton
The training gave me a different approach to working with certain young people who are hard to engage. It has made me relaise the importance and power of language.
Team Member for Catch 22 in Epsom
Very useful in Primary Care where we only have 6 weeks to work with people. Problems cannot always be solved in that time so empowerment to continue independently is important. Very engaging course.

I will now ask detailed questions about “exceptions when coping with difficulties” I will always be curious about how a person copes. I could use the Silent Session with a client if they find it difficult to discuss their problem. I found this training extremely uplifting, focusing on the client’s future and on how they could make a move forward, however small. I think this would be a great start for some clients who are experiencing chaotic lifestyles – giving them confidence to use their own coping strategies.
